Audiovox CDM-8500 Cell Phone

Cons: Not a color display, charger cord isn't a 2.5mm type plug but rather a flat plug, no digital camera.

Summary: Basically I really like the phone granted its a couple of years old and all the newer models have surpassed some of its features, but in my case I really just use it for emergencies. But given the choice I would buy another Audiovox but with more features the next time.

Cons: Black and white and an older phone
can't really download anything other than ringtones, but who cares!

Summary: I use mine with Virgin Mobile and I would much rather have this old phone than the 20 dollar ones that are sold at Walmart. If you are interested in an 8500 audiovox.. you can always find them at a wonderful price, I have bought 4,on ebay anywhere from 3 bucks up to 20.. I am very satisfied with mine and so is my husband who is hearing impaired.. this phone rings and has ringtones that are LOUD enough for you to hear!
