STYLISH!!Cons: The battery life isn't so long. HARDEST phone to learn to learn to use!!Summary: This is my first smartphone and I find it very good for a first time smartphone buyer. I was recently (regretfully) using the Sanyo S1. I learned to use this phone all beacause of the exsistence of youtube! This phone is amazing though! I have the Everything Data 1500 min. plan with Sprint. Which makes a phone VERY useful!! Anyway, this is a great smartphone and I totally recommend it!! Having everything at your fingertips at all times and pretty much anything you can do on a PC you can do on this made it wonderful. There are tons of applications out there that will fit everyones needs.Cons: System freezes/locks to where you have to reset the phone. Any problems you have with the phone isn't usually dealt with in the store which means they have to send you a replacement or talk with you over the phone which means more down time with a problem phone. Updates for these phones are done at home on a PC and can be very time consumingSummary: Although there were a lot of great features, I stopped using mine because of dependability. The system froze a lot and I'd have to take out the battery and "reboot" it. Once or twice is ok, 5-10 times a day was not. Breathtaking display- better than all previous models. Excellent battery life (3-4 days). All the options and reliability expected with the BB name. The push email is flawless, and the 3.2 mp camera takes excellent photos! Cons: No touch screen (but this could also be a plus). Slightly loose build quality. No 3G (but battery life is more important) Summary: I switched to the t-Mobile branded Curve 8900 after going through 2 t-Mobile G1's in 3 months. The BlackBerry has been reliable and feature rich compared to the G1. The G1 lacked support for Video recording, stereo bluetooth, system theming, and hardware limitations include: a lack of 3.5mm headphone jack, terrible battery life, quiet and weak ringer and vibraion setting, and overall chunkiness and poor build quality. The BlackBerry provides everything the G1 lacks and more. Built in 3.5mm headphone jack, excellent battery life and power management features (auto on/off), loud ringers and stronger vibration, free theme building software, Holster profiles (ringer and standby settings), and better, much more elegant hardware. Crisp, sharp, and bright screen. Very nice icons and layout. Great call quality and clearity. Cons: Wi-fi did not work in many areas. Even when it did, the phone would not play streaming videos. Sprint nor Blackberry could help me get the internet feature working, so my phone would only go to wi-fi, with no other browser available. This phone does not come with Sprint TV or the Music Store, so you cannot get the free NFL Mobile Live. It attracts lots of smuges and finger prints on the screen and on the back of the phone.Summary: In all, they did a great job as far as giving the phone a high quality design. They should have made this phone Sprint TV enabled and gave it access to the Music Store as well. Like I said you cannot get the free NFL Live access either. It has alot of subtle features that make everything simple. Like when you're texting and you want to end a sentence you just press space twice, and then it auto capitalizes for you. I dont recommend getting this phone without a data plan, with verizon wireless you do have to get a plan but its a low cost of 29.99 thats only 1.00 a day...other carriers i dont think you have to get a plan but with their blackberry curves im not sure how the reception, quality, and things like that are..with the blackberry curve they have a 24 hour 1800 number if you have any questions or problems with your phone also any store can help too..If your considering the blackberry pearl or the 8830(global) phone consider these things pearl-is suretype (2-3 letters per button), small, has camera. 8830-no camera, big, full qwerty keyboard.Curve you have all that the full qwerty keybord, 2.0 megapixal camera, size is right between the two other phones.
