![]() Beware of what they tell you!Overall Rating: By: chris dabney on Sunday, March 04, 2007From: homer, AK (United States) Experience: 6 Years Summary: I went from the old digital plan to the new GSM and was told that i would have double the minutes. Well the first time i went over my so called 1250 minutes i got a $400+ dollar phone bill. My minutes were supposed to be double the 1250, so that would have gave me 2500 minutes. This is what the lady told me when i signed up. They have a record of the lady telling me this so they took off $250 worth of the bill. So i ended up with 1800 minutes now for a little less money. They didn't refund me any money from a previous bill that i went over the so called 2500 minutes either. I have yet to use 2500 minutes but they ended up getting over $100 more dollars of my money! So beware of what they tell you and get their name and a copy of the contract. It could save you money and over 2hrs of wasted time that i had to have a phone stuck to my ear and being put on hold. 40 out of 71 people found this review helpful nice jobOverall Rating: By: tabitha coyne on Tuesday, February 06, 2007From: brookville, PA (United States) Experience: 6 Years Pros: we have no problems with the phone Nokia. Depends on how the clouds are.Summary: When I have a Problem at all with aanything I call them and I have nice cust. service. Some of them are not up to date with the system. I doubt I'll change. I might pay a little more than other companies around here, but I feel like the service availability Cell One provides in the more rural areas where I live makes it worth it. 2 year contracts bite, but I've found that I can simply buy a quadband unlocked phone on ebay for variety. Easy to understand plans/options. Overall, I'm very pleased given the options available in my area. 48 out of 80 people found this review helpful Cellular south-best companyOverall Rating: By: SHERI ROUSE on Monday, October 09, 2006From: BILOXI, MS (United States) Experience: 5 Years Pros: Wonderful plans availabe, state of the art phones that always stay up to date. I have never thought of using any other 28 out of 66 people found this review helpful Four yearsOverall Rating: By: Judy Meyer on Thursday, October 05, 2006From: Solon Springs, WI (United States) Experience: 4 Years Pros: detailed bills, phone usually worksCons: some areas do not get receptionSummary: Have used CellOne for 4 years now. Only went with them after asking many cell phone users who thay had and how their reception was. Most people recommended Cellular One so thats why I tried them and stuck with them. There are areas where I get no reception, but have heard other servers in my area are worse yet. 28 out of 51 people found this review helpful CoverageOverall Rating: By: Mary Weeler on Wednesday, October 04, 2006From: Naples, FL (United States) Experience: 18 Days Pros: 99% coverageCons: 1% non coverageSummary: I cannot get total coverage all over Collier County. Coverage in Naples is good, but else where in Collier County is not so good. Perhaps with an antenna, reception would be better, but I would have to try it for further evaluation. 21 out of 38 people found this review helpful cellular oneOverall Rating: By: KRISTINA HURT on Wednesday, October 04, 2006From: EUDORA, KS (United States) Experience: 2 Years Pros: very good service, clear callsCons: not able to get out when in lower areasSummary: overall i am very pleased with this service. i seem to get out even when trailriding with my horse in some pretty woodsy places. the price of their plans are good and the customer service people have always been very friendly and helpful. 25 out of 41 people found this review helpful Hubbard Cellular OneOverall Rating: By: Jan Brostrom on Saturday, September 30, 2006From: Sebeka, MN (United States) Experience: 5 Years Pros: Connections are clear along US 71Cons: I only drive through this county on my way home from work...the service is not as good as you drive west of MenahgaSummary: Fairly consistent quality 20 out of 43 people found this review helpful Cellular OneOverall Rating: By: weiming zhao on Monday, September 25, 2006From: houghton, MI (United States) Experience: 1 Years Pros: GSM networkCons: signal strength is not very strongSummary: Sometime, there's no signal in my office. I have to walk out the building to make a call, even I stand beside the window. The rate is higher, and very few choices on free phones. The biggest problem is it uses 850 Mhz, that makes my original tri-band fancy Nokia smartphone useless! 18 out of 37 people found this review helpful Not other choiceOverall Rating: By: weiming zhao on Sunday, September 24, 2006From: houghton, MI (United States) Experience: 90 Days Pros: In Houghton area, there are only two choices: alltel & cellular one. The signal is better than AlltelCons: More expense than T-Mobile, Cingular, etc. The worst is you need a quad-band cellphone. They use a non-popular radio frequencySummary: If large carrier provides service in here, I'll switch to them. 20 out of 36 people found this review helpful |
