Worst customer service ever, minutes just vanish, a nightmare, avoid

Overall Rating:
1.3 out of 5
By: M C on Saturday, September 27, 2008

Pros: Phones are OK

Cons: Customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. I've exchanged tens of emails witout any resolution. I called TMobile, all representatives say they are "delighted" to work with you but they really don't solve anything. Minutes just vanish.

Fair service, awful customer service

Overall Rating:
2 out of 5
By: Bill Szech on Thursday, July 24, 2008
From: Hanover , PA (United States)
Experience: 1 Years
Pros: Inexpensive prepaid service; much cheaper than Verizon.

Cons: T-Mobile is UNWILLING to disable receiving text messages, which I never use, and I have been receiving numerous texts from associates/creditors of the former owner of my phone number. Joined a class action suit against T-M since they absolutely won't help me disable texts, which they charge me money for.

Summary: Spotty service around Hanover PA, especially south of town. Customer service has been pretty unhelpful as to the unwanted text/spam issue.

Hate T-Mobile

Overall Rating:
1.3 out of 5
By: Linda Rice on Tuesday, March 11, 2008
From: New Castle, DE (United States)
Experience: 1 Days
Pros: I like the phone services I had before.

Cons: Customer service stinks

Summary: I ordered a phone online and UPS said I sent it back refused delivery, T-Mobile said the package was damaged, and I had to do the order over again and they would take another 90.00 dollars and I would have to wait 30 days to get the money back from the first order! makes no sence they had the money(STILL HAVE MONEY) but I have no phone!

T-Mobile

Overall Rating:
3.5 out of 5
By: Linda Brau on Saturday, February 16, 2008
From: Joliet, IL (United States)
Experience: 2 Years
Pros: Inexpensive way to have a cell phone

Cons: Worst customer service I have ever encountered

Summary: I wanted an inexpensive phone for emergencies. This was the cheapest way to go. I ordered a car charger with the phone but it was not included in the box. It took me 12 phone calls over 2 weeks to get customer service to understand that it was never put into the box. (they blamed UPS for something they never sent). Anyway I did eventually get it and individually the reps were nice but they seemed to have no training in their own company.

Good value

Overall Rating:
2.7 out of 5
By: John Smith on Wednesday, October 24, 2007
From: Atlanta, GA (United States)
Experience: 1 Years
Pros: Reasonable rates

Cons: Spotty local coverage , poor indoor coverage, no way to view call record online , can't disable text messaging

Summary: I have T-mobile TOGO for one teenager and it is Ok but I would like to be able to view the call record online ( you can on regular T-Mobile postpaid )and completely disabel text messaging . BTW - Virginmobile USA lets you you view the call record online .
