Gotta love it

Overall Rating:
4.7 out of 5
By: L F on Saturday, December 15, 2007
From: Largo, FL (United States)
Experience: 1 Years
Pros: Durability, ease of use, raised numbers work great for long nails, wonder volume

Cons: Lacks dialing by voice.

Summary: I have had mine for over a year now and wouldnt trade it for anything. I have bounced the phone off of all kinds of surfaces. Got it wet, sandy and have about beat it to death and still works great. It should be a timex, keeps a licking and keeps on ticking. I would recommend this to anyone who is rough on phones.

Never buy this phone

Overall Rating:
1.2 out of 5
By: Curtis Schallow on Tuesday, September 11, 2007
From: Coconut Creek, FL (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Pros: nothing

Cons: everything

Summary: This is the worst phone on the market. In three months the phone has completely fallen apart. It never worked good to start with and now it turns off and takes pictures without touching it & the battery last a day at best. Even if they offer this phone free to you don't get it.

horrible phone

Overall Rating:
2 out of 5
By: Paula Pierce on Friday, July 13, 2007
From: harvey, LA (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Pros: you see the date and time on the front. LOL

Cons: everything else

Summary: I was able to get mine free if I did a 2 year contract. No big deal because I plan on always having a cell phone.
This LG CG300 does not keep a good long charge. I can't use it anymore and its only a 3mts old. It echos so bad that I can't hear what the other person is saying because all I hear is my voice speaking back at me.

Not worth the money

Overall Rating:
2.3 out of 5
By: Leigh Matthews on Thursday, March 15, 2007
From: lineville, AL (United States)
Experience: 10 Months
Pros: good talk quality...speaker phone works ok....PTT feature is ok

Cons: camera is low quality..never a clear picture...bluetooth is too limited

Summary: I've had this phone for about a year and have had it replaced twice due to the fact that it freezes up during text messaging and during some calls. It completely blacks out. I wont recommend this one to anyone. They are finally replacing it with the upgrade of CU400. I hope this is better.

Decent phone for the features

Overall Rating:
4.3 out of 5
By: Fletcher Bumpus on Monday, December 18, 2006
From: Louisville, KY (United States)
Experience: 6 Months
Pros: Several "Advanced" features
reliable

Cons: MP3 tunes are hard to get onto the phone
Push-To-Talk button is in the way, where you can accidentally push it without realizing it.

Summary: There seems to be a lot of negative reviews for this phone; however, I've really enjoyed it. I use the bluetooth feature with my Motorola HS850, and have little problem with it. The sound quality is decent, although you'll get some overmodulation if you max out the speakerphone volume.

Pros: The speaker phone is excellent and the sound quality is good

Cons: The fact that you cannot get mp3 songs on it is a downer

Summary: This is a very good phone. Its bluetooth enabled and that is good, the speaker phone and sound quality are excellent. The e-mail and camera features are very good. Only down side is the mp3 incompatibility.

I HATE THIS PHONE! WORST EVER!

Overall Rating:
1.3 out of 5
By: Kat Atonic on Tuesday, August 01, 2006
From: Morehead, KY (United States)
Experience: 4 Months
Pros: none

Cons: tomorrow (august 1st), my 3rd LG CG300 will arrive from the warranty department. NO one can hear me, they say I keep breaking up and I drop ALOT of calls. Hate the PTT, don't need it and I accidently turn it on every time I open the phone, camera quality is very poor and hard to adjust, multiple steps, not good if you're in a hurry to snap something.

Summary: The worst phone I've ever owned. If this 3rd one of the same model doesn't work out, which I hope it doesn't, they will allow me to get a different model. I run 2 businesses and have lost an very important phone in an emergency situation! Not good. Don't waste your time or money on this loser.

Poor Quality

Overall Rating:
1.7 out of 5
By: Michael Oh on Saturday, April 08, 2006
From: Norwalk, CT (United States)
Experience: 10 Days
Pros: The phone has a bunch of great features:
PTT
Speakerphone
Voice Memo
Camera w/ "Flash"
Bluetooth
Etc.

Cons: None of those features are very good.

Summary: The speakerphone buzzes at a decent volume, and the caller hears their voice echo when using the feature. The camera doesn't work very well, it's not that high of quality. The "flash" is not a flash at all, its just a light that stays on and is not very bright.
The phone itself is plastic and does not seem very sturdy. And the cloud background on the outside of the phone never changes. I really don't like this phone and plan on exchanging it soon.

Nice 1st generation Cingular PTT/Camera phone

Overall Rating:
4.2 out of 5
By: Richard Dervan on Tuesday, April 04, 2006
From: Atlanta, GA (United States)
Experience: 2 Days
Pros: Nice for a first generation phone. PTT works great, phone is user friendly.

Cons: No voice dialing, which renders BlueTooth handsfree 50% useless. It has annoying "confirmation tones" when you select menu options that can't be turned off on their own. No multiple profiles for ringer, such as LOUD, SOFT, MEETING, SILENT, etc.

Summary: This is a good first generation phone. It has it's flaws, but IMHO is still a great value. I still can't believe they wouldn't include voice dialing on a BT enabled phone.

Just got it, and already love it!

Overall Rating:
4.8 out of 5
By: Lauren Macklin on Wednesday, March 22, 2006
From: West Greenwich, RI (United States)
Experience: 5 Days
Pros: First off, this phone is very user friendly, has a great layout, and large buttons. I haven't gotten my new Bluetooth headset yet, but I heard that I will be able to even PTT directly from it! All of the other features that I care about work great, including the speakerphone, and voice recorder. I loved setting the different ringer ID's for my friends!

Cons: No voice dialing, which I will make myself get used to!

Summary: I wanted to add PTT with Cingular but didn't want the bar phone, and really wanted a camera phone. I am so glad I waited for this clamshell camera with PTT by LG, because it's great.
