Cons: None. Video is a Tiny bit pixely but i can live with it.

Summary: Great phone, you wont regret it, no mistakes or anything. Battery life is good if you over use you'll still have half or 3/4 bars left. GREAT futures, fun to use and the touch screen is awesome! I love the camera and everything else. I would recommend to everyone.

Pros: Nice camera. Very user friendly. Easy customization. Great look and durable. Texting is great after you get used to it.

Cons: The web is very hard to navigate around.

Summary: Over all I think this phone is solid. There's abundh of cool features on this phone like you can handwrite your texts. And you can take videos at 1200 frames per second and can play of back in slow mo. The camera is 3.2 mega pixels. Also the phone feels great. It's not as long as the instinct and not as fat as the voyager. Great phone I recomend it.

GREAT Phone - BUY IT, you won't regret it.

Overall Rating:
4.5 out of 5
By: Linda Anderson on Thursday, August 21, 2008
From: Winnetka, CA, CA (United States)
Experience: 45 Days
Pros: Easy to navigate around. I love the vibration it makes to acknowledge your input. The camera is awesome and the ability to rotate it 90 deg. is great for watching videos and looking at pics.

Cons: Not much - maybe that it seems you have to be very careful where you press on it when selections are close together. You can calibrate it, but it still requires coordination. ;0) Does anyone know how to make the video settings stick? Mine always revert back to the original settings after I exit that screen.

Summary: It's a lot less frustrating if you read the manual first. I love mine now and 2 co-workers bought one after playing with mine for 10 minutes.

I love it

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: Julie Waters on Tuesday, July 29, 2008
From: Bridgeton, NJ (United States)
Experience: 3 Days
Pros: Easy to use. Love the touch screen, texting is great especially since I have nails and it was pain with the manual qwerty keyboards.

Cons: I thought the web browsing could be simplified. If you text a long message I don't know how you get to the first screen to make corrections. (Maybe I should read the manual Heehee)

Summary: It's sleek and so easy to use. The sound quality and reception is great. I don't need to bring my camera with me I think this phone takes a better picture. Even the video quality is good. I traded in the Chocolate crap phone and absolutely love this one!

Summary: I got this phone yesterday and i love it. the texting is easy and fun, there is great quality on calls, and the camera is unbelievable.

Not user friendly

Overall Rating:
2.8 out of 5
By: todd m on Tuesday, July 15, 2008
From: baltimore, MD (United States)
Experience: 14 Days
Pros: Small with cool features

Cons: Touch screen is terrible to use other than looking at.

Summary: If you try using the Web Browser be prepared to hit the screen alot of times to get the button you want to work.
If you are using it to text message be prepared to hit the back button many times.
I do not have big finger either. The touch is awlful. I returned it after having it 14 days.
I also have the VX10000. You can not go wrong with old school qwerty keyboard.

My text message time more than doubled trying to text people back.
I bought the Chocolate 3 today for a replacement of it.

LG Dare - It Offers Everything you Might Want in a Cellphone

Overall Rating:
4.8 out of 5
By: Doug Johnson on Monday, July 07, 2008
From: Kennewick, WA (United States)
Experience: 5 Days
Pros: The size is ideal for carrying around in a pocket. Very durable construction.

Cons: Phone sometimes gets confused when asking it to multi-task, for instance- receiving an incoming text while making an outgoing call and checking email. It might be too much to ask for PC-type multi-tasking. Running a maximum of two tasks at a time seems to work ok.

Summary: This is a great phone. The processor is very fast and the phone is generally intuitive in it's menu system. This is a vast improvement over most other Verizon phones, and certainly in it's own class when you rule out the Apple iPhone.

My partner has a conventional LG 8350 clamshell phone. When I was using his phone over the weekend I found myself attempting to touch the screen until I remembered that his phone requires scrolling and selecting the option you want, then pressing "OK". Using the touch screen in a cellphone is something you need to experience to grasp it's convenience.

The VZ-Navagator works very well (within 50') and is easy to use. Also, the LG-8350 does not offer the fringe area reception capability of the LG-Dare. While traveling from Oregon to Washington on I-82 I never lost the signal while the 8350 hunted for a tower for most of the 25 mile trip.

The LG-Dare passes the requirement to be a quality and versatile cellphone and will not disappoint.
