My touch screen stopped working completely. Is there any way to transfer my pictures to a computer or another phone without using the touchscreen? They are not on a smartcard, they are on the phones memory. Thanks.

Using AT&T service w/LG Vu CU-920...does anyone know how to stop the annoying e-mail notifications, "You Have Received New E-Mail"?? Most of the time, I find that it's notifying me of e-mail that I've already read.
TinaT1 @ Nov 14 10:48 PM
Log in to your email and click options, select email alerts, then choose the Disable email alert option. I find that you have to do this before logging out EVERY time!

My son just dropped his phone into the dog's water dish...he took the battery out and the sim card out to see if it got wet inside the phone....now the only thing that the phone shows is "Emergency Download"...has anyone ever seen this before? Is his phone fried?
aovdave @ Oct 14 1:48 PM
I did it once and put the whole thing in a bag of rice. Worked like new after about 24 hours.
GSmoothie @ Oct 17 6:56 PM
Anytime a phone gets wet, first take the battery out ASAP blow dry it put in on heater vent. It should work about 24 hours later. If this does not help the phone is fried.

Pros: Sharp LCD makes the phone fun to use.The touch screen takes a little time to get use to.Love the T9 texting with the one touch of the number keys. You really need to try it.Reception has been strong and sounds very clear where ever I"ve been.Cons: Internet is not great, but thats not what I use my phone for. Summary: I played with the floor model in the ATT store for a long time before deciding to buy this phone. You really must work with it a lot to learn the features but it is worth it. You can find hundreds of user reviews and many expert reviews on this phone as well as video reviews
from cnet, phone dog and others. These reviews and the fact that I could get it for 50 bucks after rebate convinced me to buy it. I'am glad I did

Pros: For a pressure touch screen, it registers very well. Battery life is somewhat lacking, but I keep bluetooth and anything not needed off, so it is fairly good when on bare minimum. The possibilities with this phone is great, you just need to have good sources. I myself have different themes (Blackberry, iPhone, Slide, Walkman) so this phone never gets too stale. The phone is very overall sturdy, as I have dropped it multiple times while trying to put it in my pocket, with no cosmetic or mechanicaCons: The touchscreen motions are somewhat odd. The scrolling is reverse of most phones. I noticed that if you have a long list on a screen, when you glide, it tends to scroll way to fast. I personally do not like "glossy" phones, as they tend to get dirty quickly because dirt, smudge, and oil likes to cling to things that are shiny. If you didn't sign up for the TV thing, then you also have a pointless antenna (I, however, turned mine into a stylus.) I also do not like the call/call end buttons.Summary: Overall, a sturdy and nice phone. You just have to be patient, give it some time, and do some tweaks here and there in order to customize it and satisfy your phone cravings. LG definately made a winner here.

Pros: Easy to use, great touch quality, great camera, and phone is very loud. Love the look and the HUGE screen. Been waiting for this phone for a long time. Cons: You cant touch and drag like on the Samsung Eternity. I would have loved that feature on this phone.Summary: If ya want a great touchscreen phone get this one. The LG VU, it is great for anyone. And if you are worried about the touchscreen and making alot of mistakes, DON"T because you can calibrate it for rhythem, pressure, and accuracy. Overall, the LG VU is a great phone. Thanks.
