I'm switchng to the enV 2, but i slid it up and down to much and it broke into 2 pieces. when i press the back button on the phone it starts dialing #84 the charge adapter where you put it in on the phone, broke off. You can change the sensitivity level of the touch pad but it is still eithr to sensitive or not sensitive enough. When you talk to someone on it your face touches the pad and it will go to different menus. Ths phone has terrible battery life and the speakers are not good at all. the phone isn't easy to use.The phone had good servie when i first got it and i could get service anywhere and after about two or three months it all went down hill. You can listen to music from your computer onto this cell phone. only problems encountered were battery life is not so great, and this is my 2nd chocolate phone because of the same display malfunction. Flash or lack there of and needing to catch light from another source which can be a pain at times..Summary: I dont know what everyone is complaining about, i go through approx. 5 phones a year at least if not more. This has to be the most functional phone i have had to date. Not to mention if you get a tad bit into the inner workings of your phone like i do myself (which is why i suspect i go through so many phones) get the USB adapter for it and BITPIM the hell outta that thing, modify applications, add new software etc... it makes the use of the phone alot more interesting. Flimsy. Overly sensitive touch or not enough. Hate this phone.Summary: Too delicate - the battery charger jack came out of the phone. If you're checking voice mail, or talking to someone, your fingers are right on the side keys and it just starts going through menus while you're trying to carry on a conversation. The phone looks good ill tell you that much. The slider adds style to the phone as well as the large screen and the cool red cherry color just tops it off. Another good thing about this phone is you can use it either slid open, or shut. To use it shut, there is a lock feature since the phone has a touch screen on the outside. It is easy to unlock, simply press the outside buttons on the side of the phone either once or twice (depending on your settings). The last good thing about this phone is the music player. It has loud speakers. The music player is also easy to use. However, this phone has some bad features. When you slide the phone open, it almost feels like the top part is going to slide completely off. You could the say the phone is "delicate". Also, the top of the phone under the screen is a touch screen which i find extremely hard to control despite the setting changes you can make with the sensitivity. It is hard to manage with the touch screen because it is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I reccomend not getting the phone and getting a different phone even if it does cost more money. I got the phone 10 months ago and the battery no longer keeps a charge. I practice good battery life skills: mostly charged but will drain it once a month. I've had other phones that can keep a charge for years. This one didn't even make it a year. I'm needing to buy a new battery. 2. Depending on the environmental conditions, the phone will call all by itself. I will open it up and then it will either call the last person who I called or called me or it will call the first address in the contacts. I'm sure Andy's Jazz Club in Chicago, IL is getting sick of my phone calling them once a day without me knowing. 3. The whole touch thing takes a lot of getting used to and it's not worth it. My wife has buttons on her phone and now I have button envy. 4. The camera is almost impossible to whip out and get a fast photo. It just doesn't fit in your hand well. 5. I like the sliding feature and the GPS. The GPS system's not too bad for a phone. 6. I don't have huge fingers but I don't have twigs. It's very difficult for me to speed dial while holding down a button. It takes too long. Please don't waste your $ on a chocolate phone. Long battery life. shortcuts on sides of phone make it even more easier to find what you are looking for! the music player is great! everything about this phone is awesome! but the camera....Cons: Camera has no flash. kind of hard to take a picture, if your hand isn't really steady, the picture will come out all warped. only complaint here is about the camera.Summary: If you're using a mini sd card, make sure you transfer the files to the phone, if you don't, the battery life will drain because the phone will constantly read from the card. This is the reason why I think so many people are having complaints about the battery life.
