I want to say thank you to PhoneDog for common sense advice for us cell junkies. Using your website my g-friend will pick the LG Dare. Thank you.

Summary: Just upgraded to this phone today from LG VX8300. I got it primarily because of the 8GB micro SD capability (more music), and because I was entitled to a free upgrade. I love the music player on my 8300, and have a simple 3.5mm->2.5mm adapter that lets me use my ipod earbuds to listen with (in STEREO). In checking out the 8360's features, I was stunned to discover that, first of all the external speaker(s) (if in fact there are two) are so close together that it sounds mono, cheap and tinny compared to the 8300's stereo speakers. Minor nuisance there compared to when I plugged my adapter laden earbuds in. IT'S MONO, unless I jury rig the plug half in/out, which of course is not acceptable. Not keeping this phone another day! Sorry not to comment on other features, this atrocity is a dealbreaker.
