great basic phone

Overall Rating:
3.5 out of 5

Experience: 1 Years
Pros: Good reception, fairly long battery life, good basic features

Cons: Only polyphonic tones, not real tones; speaker doesn't seem to last long, have to use speakerphone feature.

Summary: This is a good basic phone. Would be great for younger kids or people who do not use them often. Would be nice to have music tones. The speaker seems to stop working after a while, but the speakerphone feature is great. Also has a voice recorder, which is handy. Good for basic use and text messaging. All in all, a good buy.

Nokia 3120

Overall Rating:
3 out of 5

Pros: I like it because it's small and can fit anywhere. It has the internet and that works pretty good. It's actually lasted after dropping it many times.

Cons: It's slow when accessing the menus. You can't choose menu's quickly. Nasty sounding poly music. It has low color quality and I can't choose different songs for everyone. You can only create about five groups of people and choose songs for those people.

Summary: I have had this phone for about two years now and it has worked really nicely for me. I'm not a big fan of flip ups so this was a good phone for me. I would recommend this phone for people who don't use the phone very often and don't really do anything on it. But all-and-all, it is a good phone.

Pros: nice and little, great ring tones choice, can text, and go to web....

Cons: antenna breaks very easity, scratches very easily

Summary: This phone is great but if you need good reception all the time this would not be phone for you. Some of the buttons stopped working after a while, but other than that I would have to say this phone is very good and works for me. It is very easy to use, not complicated like some phones in the past that I have had.

Pros: voice mail, screen size, three holes for the ear piece

Cons: buttons too close, never liked the mouthpiece if that's what its called on this small a phone.

Summary: I like it being silver because its easy to see if you drop it . The screen size is alright but could be bigger. Fits nicely into a pocket and looks good.

Experience: 1 Years
Pros: Speaker Phone, COlor Display, Alaram Clock, Long Batterry life

Cons: No bluetooth

Summary: 3120 is very light and sleak model. It has good clarity and speaker phone comes handy when you want to talk for long hours. The screen is big enough to do most of the work on the phone. Phone settings are good to make it customized.

Okay phone for basic calling

Overall Rating:
3 out of 5
By: Matt Meitzner on Wednesday, August 16, 2006
From: Plymouth Meeting, PA (United States)
Experience: 2 Years
Pros: Small, lightweight, speakerphone, text messaging auto-complete

Cons: Antenna could be better, speaker could be louder

Summary: I've had this phone for about a year now, and it works well enough. I'm not in love with it, but it meets my needs adequately. For normal calls, it's better than past phones - in fact I had a previous model of this same phone, the 3100 that was stolen, and this phone gets a much better signal in areas that I used to have a hard time with...so props to Nokia for improving the antenna. However, with that said, it's still not as good as some other phones I've tried at getting good signals in the same spots as where my calls drop. For text messaging, the phone has a feature where it will guess the word you want if you just type each "letter" once, rather than have to hit the number 2 three times for the letter C. Maybe all phones have this now, but this is the first phone I've had that has this, and it's a time saver when you're typing a long message.

Overall, I'm happy with this phone.

Nokia Silver 3120 Cell Phone

Overall Rating:
4.8 out of 5
By: Kathy Austin on Saturday, August 05, 2006
From: Houston, TX (United States)
Experience: 2 Years
Pros: Small and compact, easy to use keys and menu navigation. Virtually destruction proof.

Cons: Hard to read display in certain light.

Summary: The Nokia 3120 silver is a great compact little phone for basic phone users. Fits in your hand nicely, keys are easy to use and menu easy to navigate. Sound is clear. Long life battery lasting at least 3 days with average of 25 calls in and out. Has lots of menu options for basic users without all the fancy MP3 players, games, camera, etc that run the price up on other phones. It is virtually indestructible as mine as been stepped on by a horse, run over by a car and still works fine. Nice phone at nice price.
