Nokia 6682/6681 user review
Good SmartphoneBy: Anup Viswanathan on Sunday, August 06, 2006 From College Station (United States) Experience: 9 Months Pros: Very versatile. Tri-band phone which allows the phone to be used in most countries. 1.3 MP camera with flash. Smartphone with Symbian S60 OS. Digital music player. Upgradeable memory.Cons: Bulky and heavy, but for the features it offers, it is worth it. Phone is slightly slow to load applications.Summary: I have been a die-hard Nokia fan for the past 5 years for obvious reasons. There are very few phones that can withstand the sort of torture that i subject my phones to. It is not deliberate, but I have dropped the phone from my pocket on numerous occasions and except for the scratches, their phones are rock steady. The fact that their antenna's are built into the casing are a plus. Now coming to this particular phone model - the nokia 6682. A very versatile smartphone which is almost a PDA. A camera with good resolution which allows both still picture capture as well as videos. A digital music player for playing MP3 tracks. The phone comes bundled with a 64 MB reduced size dual-voltage Multimedia Card. It made sense for me to invest in a larger memory, which allows me to store more of everything. This phone runs on the Symbian S60 platform, and there are numerous applications being introduced each day. These applications really help in tweaking the performance of this phone. Overall this phone is one of the best available in the US cellular market. Did i mention that this phone is very cheap with new service. 37 out of 66 people found this review helpful |
