Not what I expectedOverall Rating: By: Weston Ogburn on Sunday, September 14, 2008From: High Point, NC (United States) Experience: 3 Weeks Pros: Great browser, neat menu system, many customizable options, keypad worked great and was easy to use, compact sizeCons: The touch screen was very difficult to use especially in mobile IM, the web browser, and the edges of the screen were hardly ever responsive. Also, because the glyde senses the electricity from your finger, after about a days use, oil from your finger collects on the screen and the electricity travels through the oil on the screen and selects the wrong thing. This wasnt too big of a problem, i just had to wipe the screen off every day. The lock does not lock the screen very well. Every now and tSummary: The touch screen can very very frustrating. Even though it has a very nice web browser, its slow and hard to select links. Overall, I would not recommend this phone. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful
A great fun filled toy :)Overall Rating: By: ben fulghum on Friday, August 15, 2008From: Asheville, NC (United States) Experience: 30 Days Pros: not your normal verizon UI!!! the form factor of the phone. lightweight and not a big as you might think.. cool looks with the touchscreen. a high tech phone for anyones budget :)Cons: Again not as big as you might think.. so this makes the touchscreen hard to use sometimes :/ Verizon crippled this phone with all of its restrictions. such as the bluetooth transfers and etc. Gets to happy sometimes and will get ahead of itself keyboard takes some time getting used to Summary: This is by far one of the best phones i have ever owned. the only phone that can come close is the alias.. but the alias has nothing on this phone when you compare the features:The screen is bright and crisp. The keyboard is more roomy than you might think. The screen (has some quirks but not as bad as the voyager) is not iphonish but this isnt an iphone. This phone has a great screen for viewing txt, pix, and vids since you can use the whole screen unlike with your regular phones :)The web browser has great speed but the screen just doesnt let you fully take in all of that speed. It's a great alternative to the voyager... after the firmware update you can get youtube videos as well :) It doesn't offer mobile tv but with youtube you will not have time for mobile tv. I love my glyde and you will too :) 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful

Good phoneOverall Rating: By: Don Cannon on Sunday, June 01, 2008From: Fort. Wayne, IN (United States) Experience: 10 Days Pros: touch screen, qwerty keyboard, html browser, vcastCons: touch screen unresponsive (rarely)Summary: If you were like me trying to figure out if you should get the Glyde or the Voyager take my advice and get the Glyde. The glyde basically took the voyager and fixed all of its problems. The Glyde is also pocket-friendly, unlike the voyager. If your a heavy texter the keypad is great for fast messages. 17 out of 17 people found this review helpful

Sent it Back!Overall Rating: By: Derek Davis on Tuesday, May 20, 2008From: Letcher, SD (United States) Experience: 20 Days Pros: Small, compact device. It has a nice shortcut menu on it. The camera is clear and with the flash makes it even better. Very easy to use.Cons: The screen is not nearly big enough. It is very hard to click links on webpages. Sometimes I would be trying to touch a button and finally after a minute it would work. Sometimes I would touch an item at the top of the screen and it would select an item at the bottom of the screen. It is very difficult to touch items around the edges of the screen. If you take a picture with your camera and try to set it as a background it cuts out most of the picture. The service on this phone seems to beSummary: Overall this is not a bad phone, but it has some major issues with the touch screen. If you live out in the middle of nowhere where there is poor reception I would not recommend this phone. The flash on the camera is a plus. Needless to say I sent the phone back and bought the Voyager! I'd recommend that if your willing to spend this much for a phone, spend an extra $100 and get the Voyager, you will be a lot more satisfied. 7 out of 21 people found this review helpful
