Samsung SGH-D807 Grey user review
Nice phone, but be careful...By: Vincent Jones on Thursday, October 11, 2007 From Erlanger (United States) Experience: 5 Months Pros: Just like everyone else says, the screen is among the best out there - big, bright, and crisp. I love that I was able to download Google Maps on my phone and have all the functionality that GMaps has on a computer, even with sattelite view and traffic in real time. It's all that I expected that a phone this price would do. Cons: Yikes. Take care of that screen folks. It's fragile. The outer part that you can touch is just a protective cover to a quite frail LCD, and it's not invincible. While that protective cover won't likely break under normal usage, the fragile screen underneath it breaks easily and can leave you being able to see little to nothing of your display. I pay and extra $5 a month for my carrier's warranty where they replace it no-questions-asked. The battery is also weak at first, but I've notSummary: I'd say that this is one of the best sliders out there. My friends with other sliders like how mine is built more. Just DO NOT leave it in your pocket when you're lounging around. My screen got damaged while sitting on a couch and shifting around a couple times. I did manage to make it about 5 months without damaging it though. Just treat it like you would the screen of a laptop and you've got nothing to worry about; it's just up to you to decide if you want to carry that equivelant fragility around in your pocket/purse. If you put a too much weight on it, you're shopping again. 16 out of 29 people found this review helpful |
