Pros: Best

Cons: Best

Summary: This is the best phone that i have ever had and I liked it ever since i layed eyes onto it. It was like love at first sight, I would like to stick my penis into the USB plug-in. As soon as i saw it i knew that I was in love. I wish to take a long walk on the beach with it.

Has Issues

Overall Rating:
2.3 out of 5
By: Biron None on Sunday, January 07, 2007
From: Long Island, NY (United States)
Experience: 9 Months
Pros: MP3 Player, FM radio.

Cons: Can unlock -- with buttons exposed, it often dials my most recently used number while in my pocket. It can also connect to the internet while in your pocket.

Summary: Here are some other problems:
- No WMA, just MP3
- Proprietary voice recording format -- requires a converter if imported to a PC.
I'm really unhappy with it and can't wait to get a different one.

Swivel in Color

Overall Rating:
4.5 out of 5
By: Brenda Balagot on Wednesday, September 20, 2006
From: San Lorenzo, CA (United States)
Experience: 90 Days
Pros: Clear sounding speakers, durable, lots of memory

Cons: No slot for expandable memory card

Summary: Pros and cons aside, I'm pretty happy with the Sony Ericcson w600i. The camera feature has 3x zoom, which does a pretty good job, and is preprogrammed with Kodak Gallery's email address, so that you can upload your photos instantly to your account. There are many games available for the phone, which I use, because of my long commute, and the sound and graphics are very clear. I know it's durable from experience, since I dropped the phone from the second floor of my house to the ground floor, and it didn't break or scratch. Pretty impressive, if you ask me. The camera software is pretty good, as you can edit your videos and photos from the phone itself. Sound is pretty good, and I like the swivel, since flip phones are so prevalent, it's nice to be a little bit different.

i looked for this phone forever and got it free off wirefly

Overall Rating:
4.2 out of 5
By: Amanda Blaszuk on Tuesday, September 19, 2006
From: Ephrata, PA (United States)
Experience: 7 Days
Pros: loud speakers, orange!, mp3, multi number address book, 1000 number storage, camera

Cons: unlocks and spins open in my pocket, no option for additional memory and it doesn't hold too much music (about 60 songs maybe? i haven't maxed it yet), internet connection button right on the front seems dumb

Summary: i looked for this phone since they discontinued it and finally found it on wirefly for free! ($150 but rebates). the look is amazing and the options are great, but the quality of some of those options aren't the best. I can't even figure out where headphones would go if possible. Good thing it plays loud! I like the phone a lot for the most part.

Sony Ericson W600

Overall Rating:
3 out of 5
By: John Ishkan on Thursday, August 31, 2006
From: Glendale, CA (United States)
Experience: 16 Months
Pros: Good reception, mp3 player is great, and the battery life is sufficient.

Cons: Had 3 of them die on me, but the last one is good. They must have upgraded the firmware.

Summary: The sony ericson W600i is a great phone and mp3 player combo. Its stylish and fun. It is kind of bulky, and big, but you have to keep in mind its an MP3 player and a phone. It has a radio and a bunch of other neat stuff as well.

W600i nice!

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5
By: Tarek ElSadek on Wednesday, August 16, 2006
From: Raleigh, NC (United States)
Experience: 8 Months
Pros: Very slick design!

Cons: limited memory

Summary: The w600i is a nice phone overall. The slick design of the phone is definitely its best advantage. I also like the rotating face, altough its a hassle to call numbers not in your phone book.

I think there is problem with the mp3 player functionality on the phone. It turns on and off by itself somtimes!

I also don't like the fact the headphone jack is not standard!

Impressive looking phone

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5
By: joel ibarra on Wednesday, August 09, 2006
From: fort worth, TX (United States)
Experience: 4 Months
Pros: It has a cool look and does a couple of cool things.
The battery life is great.
And the style of the phone is cool too.
I really like to Mp3 feature.

Cons: The memory is fixed and does not allow expansion

Summary: A cool phone, very loud speaker, and has almost every feature imaginable. However, I don't like the adapter required to plug in a set of headphones and the fact that you cannot upgrade the memory.

The phone isn't really that good.

Overall Rating:
2.3 out of 5
By: manuel alamo on Sunday, July 09, 2006
From: richmond, TX (United States)
Experience: 6 Months
Pros: The phone is okay, it has some good features like the mp3 player but other than that its just a regular phone.

Cons: One thing I thought would be a pro was the nice way it opened but actually it's terrible. I hate the fact that sometimes when you open the phone or put it on the table the phone turns off for no reason, I think it's not that good. It has this ugly orange color but appearance isn't what matters.

Summary: Do not buy this phone. Overall I regret the purchase of this phone. If you want a nice mp3 player there are plenty of other phones out there to spend your hard earned money on, but not this one. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy this phone, else you will turn out sad like I did.

Watch out for Accidental Internet Charges!

Overall Rating:
3.2 out of 5
By: John Culver on Wednesday, March 08, 2006
From: Placerville, CA (United States)
Experience: 45 Days
Pros: Really great phone all around.

Cons: One tough push button connects to the internet and the side lock button is easily disengaged. While moving around in my pocket during the day and night, I accumulated over $600.00 in accidental internet charges in one month. Ask Cingular to disable internet access on your phone.

Summary: The phone works great other than the accidental internet connections.

Don't want to put it down!

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5
By: Sirena Watson on Tuesday, December 20, 2005
From: Charlestown, NH (United States)
Experience: 7 Days
Pros: The speakers can get very loud when turned all the way up and the head phones sound great. Camera quality is fantastic. I think the memory for music is just right, mine has 60 songs and room for more right now, if you need more than that you might want to look into just an MP3 player.

Cons: My only complaint is the battery. It seems to go down awfully fast. I know that's just a by product of using it a lot and all the different things it can do, but my T616 seemed to last a lot longer.

Summary: I just picked up my Sony Ericsson W600 about a week ago, and I still hate having to put it down. I had been waiting awhile for it to come out, and it did not disappoint. I recommend the w600 for sure!

I'm Happy With This Phone

Overall Rating:
3.7 out of 5
By: Brandy Peyton on Friday, December 16, 2005
From: Albuquerque, NM (United States)
Experience: 3 Weeks
Pros: All features that should be included on a cell phone are.

Cons: Not really a big fan of the orange on the phone.

Summary: The Sony Ericsson W600i cell phone is really awesome. The only thing I'm considering is that the color of the cell phone could be solid silver. I hate the orange parts of the cellphone. If Sony Ericsson could've fixed my problem, I would say it's the best-looking cell phone ever!

Good All Around Phone

Overall Rating:
4.3 out of 5
By: Spencer Green on Friday, December 16, 2005
From: Springville, UT (United States)
Experience: 1 Months
Pros: Faster interface than the S710a, great camera, stylish phone.

Cons: When you transfer a file from a PC to the phone it's a little slow.

Summary: I just received my Sony Ericsson W600i and so far so good. The phone looks pretty nice and I love how much faster the user interface is when compared to the S710a which everyone knows is so horribly slow. The rubbery/matte finish of the phone's front and rear faceplate is also a nice feature. This helps to almost eliminate any fingerprints if you happen to be anal about those kinds of things. The only drawback that I've encountered so far is how slow it takes to transfer files to the phone from a PC via the USB cable. Oh well, that's something that I'm sure I'll start to overlook as time passes by.
