Pros: A stylish phone with good battery life and packs a lot of features for it's sise.2 megapixle camera,4x digital zoom with led light, bluetooth, inferer red,F.M raidio, muisic player, games,e.cCons: The Sony Ericsson w810i can be slugish at times and it also has a few software glitches.Summary: The w810i is stylish with many great features all in a small phone. it's a great phone for taking lots of pictures, and listing to music. I also like the way the camera has a LED light because it can be used as a flash light.I would give this phone a 8/10 raiting.
Not what I expected

Experience: 9 Months
Pros: nice features
good camera
good screen
can hold Media Card
has FM radio
Cons: speaker fuzzes
side walkman and media net buttons are no good
locks up all the time
have to take battery out often to reset
Freezes up
Summary: This phone started out as a wonderful phone... Give it six months or so. It locks up very often. Power button won't even turn it off when it locks, take battery out it will fix it.. sometimes... Mine has recently locked up again and this times will not come back. You push power up button and it acts like it is going to go then sits with the sony ericsson/walkman sign on the screen and will do nothing, just lights up with the logo.... still been this way for about three weeks, can't do anything with it.

Experience: 1 Months
Pros: -Price
-Size
-Ease of Use
-Functionality
-Battery Life!Cons: None Yet!Summary: Vast upgrade from early model V3. Our area has a great signal and voice quality and strength is great, no dropped calls. I am hard of hearing and the position of the speaker is perfect, max volume is not needed as with the V3. In the past I have not been an iPod person but now daily use both the walkman and radio (again, good signals in our area).
Overall I am very happy with this phone. I have upgraded to web use and find this functional and fun even with the smaller screen.
For the price a GREAT deal.

By: Sgt Sonny on Thursday, February 08, 2007From: Wesley Chapel, FL (United States)
Experience: 60 Days
Pros: -Inexpensive (with Cingular's service rebated: $65)
-Comes with free Sony Ericsson external speakers
-Comes with free 1G Memory Stick (Cingular)
-Vivid, colorful screen
-Great sound quality MP3 player with equilizer
-Easy to use dedicated "Walkman" button feature
-2.0 Mega pixel camera (higher than most other phones)
-Super bright LED camera flash that doubles as flashlight.
-Easy to remove memory stick
-Better than average battery life
-Sony offers FREE ring tone, Cons: -Easy to scratch screen
-No cover to protect camera lens
-No cover to protect dust from external speaker
-Small buttons
-Does not allow you to set MP3 songs as ring tones
-When dropped, easy to damage the screen/camera lens.
-When uploading/playing music it can tend to get glitchy and freeze for a second or two.
-Charger prongs seem easy to break off/damage.Summary: The pros and cons pretty much covered it.
With Cingular's service I got a great deal on the phone. Besides it being a great deal, the phone is great...works great as a phone. The Walkman feature can be glitchy from time to time, but only when you upload a mass amount of songs at once, or when a song is playing and you are scrolling through the phone and doing other things like looking up numbers or playing games. Other than that the speaker is plenty loud for a tiny phone.
Being in the military, one thing I love are tactical gadgets. So when I found out that this phone had a camera flash that doubles at a super bright LED flashlight, I was sold. The flashlight also has a "S.O.S" feature where you can set it on S.O.S and it will blink in morse code a "help me" message. Also a cool tactical feature in case you are lost in the woods at night and a rescue team in a helicopter may be flying over head. The LED light is definetly bright enough to alert low flying aircraft. The flashlight is cool, but of course it drains battery life, but for those times that you may be in a dark movie theater and your drop your keys between the seats, the flashlight feature is pretty neat.
Sony offers a great service: free ring tone, theme, picture, and game downloads at their Sony Ericsson website.
The only thing I would highly recommend is as soon as you buy this phone, go on Ebay and find a durable case for it. I found an awesome silicon rubberized casing for it which protects it from damage, dust, and scratches. Only $10 bucks shipped on Ebay!
Also, I don't know if this is the case with other phones, but the car charger for this damn phone is $30 bucks at the local retailer outlets...insanely expensive for a charger. You can get chargers on Ebay for $8 bucks shipped all day.
Highly recommend this phone!
