I bought the s.e xperia last week and my battery completely run out yesterday, so i plugged it in to charge it today and it will not charge at all, i've had it charge for about 5 hours now, and the standby light is red but when i try to turn the phone on 2 red lights flash at each side but nothing happens? i don't understand how it could be like this, does anyone know how this could be?

Amylouiise, I had that problem also, but what I did was unplug and unplug it again and again. the way that you know that the phone is charging is that two yellow lights comes on and off one at a time.

Open the back of the phone to display the battery. take the battery out and put it back in. plug your phone into its charger. hopefully this is start it to charge.

I know that I started to ship my phone back to dell corporation because I thought my phone was broken. It takes time to play with this phone to try to charge it up.

I know that they say it is not good to overcharge a cell phone but with this phone once I do get it charge I monitor my battery level. even when I go to bed, or work and even in the car, I keep the phone plugged into its charger.

Let me know how you did far as charging it? please.

The two red lights flash because there is power going through it but, do as I say and it should charge with no problems.

I have been using the S.E xperia for about a week now and I must say it has a long way to go.The device has great potential far as the software use is concerned;the panel concept also needs a great improvement.
My main concern is why it is so difficult access multimedia files such as music and pictures and even when done, for an example it is impossible to play music in the background while using different panels.I hope S.E can rectify this horror
