Droid Wars - Breakout clones

How many Breakout clones are available for Android? A lot, that's how many. I had to edit out my banter about how a neighbor destroyed my Atari 5200. That's how many Breakout clones are in the Market - and I didn't even cover them all.

Here are a couple to look for, and a few others to avoid. BTW, if you can play Droid Breakout using the accelerometer while the reverse power-up is active, I salute you.

Does anyone want to volunteer a cooler intro for Droid Wars? It doesn't have to be flashy. Leave a comment if you'd like to give it a shot.

Between Droid Breakout and Jewellust, so far it looks like the non big-brand developers are doing the best work. Something nice about that.

I am an advocate of open source and the little guy, but yes... independents win the last two, for sure.

And what's up with obsessive branding? I know mega-corporations have researched it to no end, but I think watching 10 seconds of logos every time I launch a game makes me less likely to buy their stuff in the future.

lol, boy, what a reply crash zone this video has. As always, good job on the review, ... while I don't always understand the indepth techy jumbo stuff (last cupcake video?)this one peaked my interest, even if I am not accessible to the program as my phone wouldn't support it... and for the 'Where's Noah" comments, he does other people that correspond with him and have a different angle of knowledge, so just open up and take it in, that's why we watch right, :) have a great day everyone.

okay first of all I used to work for Best Buy, now I work for Apple :), I know about anything about elcetronics since I've been in the buiness my whole life. Now what I think you should do is see the facts, the iPhone is the most popular phone in America and holds %40 of the phone market and I'm pretty sure the G1 doesnt even have %5, and you know what, nothing will ever kill the iPhone by now it's unstopable

I have been repeating the same things thousands of times. Every couple of days there is a guy like you. I have only one thing to say. Don't follow mindlessly the crowd. Don't listen to your friends. Don't try to be cool. Don't follow the herd. Don't be a sheep. Educate yourself. Read up on the matter. Check some sites and forums. Ask people who are tech savy. When you know enough on the matter come back and tell me what you think.
