So far I have been very satisfied with hassle free service at a very reasonable cost especially for international calls. The paperless web service design is also easy to use. OPEX 3 Month ReviewOverall Rating: By: James Krieger on Monday, November 24, 2008From: Monrovia, MD (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: 1) Very cost effective, even if you don't make enough calls to avoid the monthly service fee. 2) You can still get a monthly paper statement and pay by check or money order to avoid placing all your personal information on the internet.Cons: 1) Some data noise and internet or telephone trunk noise in the background on extended weekend calls. This is very minimal, and only to discriminating ears. 2) No dial around number or a vehicle to make calls from another location and have it billed to you account. 3) No "free" toll free number.Summary: The service has been great for the reasons I mentioned above, as well as the fact the the sign-up process didn't require excess personal information requests. Overall the cost is even less than cell phone plans. 6 out of 12 people found this review helpful Opex value plus 2.7Overall Rating: By: Carolyn Ing on Tuesday, August 26, 2008From: Greater Boston, MA (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: Prompt changeover, good priceCons: noneSummary: The changeover was quick and went smoothly with no problems. The only thing that caused a glitch was that Verizon was uncooperative. I can't fault Opex for that. Verizon sometimes can have a swelled head. 9 out of 20 people found this review helpful opexOverall Rating: By: warda gounder on Thursday, June 05, 2008From: sacramento, CO (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: clear voice and reasonable rateCons: noneSummary: Satisfied 12 out of 29 people found this review helpful Opex value plus 2.7Overall Rating: By: doug lowry on Wednesday, May 07, 2008From: rapid city, SD (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: sign-up was easyCons: noneSummary: A very good deal for international and interstate - have not used intrastate. bills are easy to read and understand - highly recommended. 11 out of 28 people found this review helpful Good serviceOverall Rating: By: I N on Friday, April 11, 2008From: Miami, FL (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: AffordableCons: none so farSummary: I like the service, primarily because is not expensive. All calls sound very good with no static. it would be nice if our number would show up on the Caller ID. There have been some calls not taken. They think it's a salesman or someone wanting money. All in all I've not been disappointed at all. 19 out of 36 people found this review helpful Tread carefullyOverall Rating: By: Dave Bliss on Wednesday, March 12, 2008From: Packwood, WA (United States) Experience: 15 Years Cons: Horrible customer serviceSummary: After 15 years with never a late payment this company or the USPO lost one of my checks that was mailed on time. They suspended my service on the day I found out about it($21.45)and their awful customer service refused to do anything about it. I took my business elsewhere and would never recommend them to anyone. Over the 15 years I had hundreds of fax charges charged to my phone even though I had no fax machine connected. The number used to belong to another company and I was charged for all the wrong number calls. 14 out of 33 people found this review helpful |
