Will I still get charged fees even if I make no long distance calls?

There are no charges for the long distance service during a billing cycle if you make absolutely no long distance calls.  The USF fee, in-state connection fee, and carrier cost recovery fee are only charged if you make long distance calls during that billing cycle.*

*For companies that charge a monthly fee (ECG and PowerNet Global) then the monthly charges and fee will apply even if no calls are made.

Long Distance - Did you know?

Many people are using their cell phones for long distance calls. If you divide your minutes by your monthly bill, you’ll see that regular long distance (especially the plans offered on our site) are less expensive in almost all cases. And, if you go over your minutes, you’ll be paying 20-40 cents per minute. Plus, by using long distance at home you’ll have better clarity!
